Dr. Reginald Murphy
Dr. Murphy was elected to the Board of Directors in 1973. He served on the Supervisory Committee from 1957 to 1973. He received his B.A. from UCLA, a master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Los Angeles and earned a Doctorate at the University of Southern California. Dr. Murphy retired from LAUSD where he served as a teacher, senior high school principal, and area administrator of elementary and secondary schools. Dr. Murphy was also a member of the District negotiating team and as administrator for Office of Staff Relations. He is currently employed with the law firm of Liebert, Cassidy, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
