Guilbert C. Hentschke
Mr. Hentschke was appointed to the Supervisory Committee on January 2008. He holds the Richard T. Cooper and Mary Catherine Cooper Chair in Public School Administration at USC’s Rossier School of Education. Mr. Hentschke’s prior service includes deanships at USC and the University of Rochester, as well as faculty and administrative positions at Teachers College, Columbia University, the Chicago Public Schools, and Eastside Union High School District (San Jose, CA). His current board directorships include: National Center on Education and the Economy, ExED, WestEd Regional Laboratory and KIPP LA Prep Charter School. Mr. Hentschke received the award for Friend of the Education Industry in 2007. He received a bachelor’s degree in history and economics at Princeton University, and master’s and Ph.D. degrees in education from Stanford University.
